scan time is always difficult, we get cross and edgy and worried. But if your consultant is not worried, then try not to worry too, I know we do it and I am the worst in the world. I go to the radiology for the scan, come out and tell myself to stop worrying because I cant change that photo of my body that helps me a little. The best of luck with your scan
Your ca125 isn't far above normal. Could a rise have been because you had a cold? But if scans have been ok, I would think that would be more important to think about than the ca125. But I know it's easy to say and not so easy to do. Di
My last CT125 was 44, I was concerned it has risen from 38 and not down to single figures as I had hoped. My CNS nurse said they don't go by just the CA125, but weather you have symptoms or not. Good luck with your CTScan results, try not to worry. easier said than done I know. xx
Hiya, I do understand you being scared but your cold probably was the cause of the rise in the CA125 reading, infection and/or inflammation are known factors in affecting the numbers so if you can take comfort from what your oncologist is saying. The scans have been encouraging so far and you’ll soon have the results of the latest, hopefully that will confirm you’re ok. The waiting is always difficult. Hugs ❤️Xx Jane
