Topotecan

HHi all. Haven't had a break from chemo (except when interrupted by sickness) since July 16. They are now trying topotecan. I am having it every week for 3 weeks then a week off. I am having blood work every week. Went for chemo yesterday and my platelets were too low for me to have it, as this was only my second one I was ultra frustrated. Has anyone else done topotecan? How did your blood behave ?

It looks like you are on a very rigorous course.

I have never had this, but have heard of it under the name Hycantin.

Perhaps they need to drop the dose a bit?
