Ladies...thanks so much for all your advise. Xx Am so happy I am able to get support as here in Singapore I haven't come across any of this sharing yet. I have spoken to another oncologist yesterday whom I consulted before deciding on the current one. He told me that from my histology report... the benefit in terms of percentage between 4 or 6 cycles is not significant. I can stop at 4 if I choose to. He said he has patients who opt not to have any chemo at stage 1 and still doing fine. They will be monitor every 6 months in this case.
My 5th chemo session is scheduled next Tuesday and will have blood tests done on Monday. I have scheduled an appt prior to blood tests with my oncologist and will discuss with her again based on my view that clear cell is chemo resistance. See what her advise. I did ask for a CT scan after my 4th cycle but because I have an abdominal x ray done abt one month ago because I complained of bloatedness. X ray Result is okay so my oncologist said don't need to do CT scan .. don't expose to unnecessary radiation. Recommend to do a pet scan at end of 6th cycle instead.

Had to reply to you, because I used to live in Singapore and unbeknown to me, I became ill with oc during going back for the first time in 40 years! That was 4 1/2 years ago and after treatment I am still Ned.
I was stage 1c and had debaulking op and6months carbo/ taxol.
My take is to have as much removed as possible and the most chemo/ treatment after as possible.
I just think it gives you the best chance, I was mucinous, hope it never returns and wish that for you also, take the most is offered to you,
I really needed the support because it is only ladies whom have gone through what we are going through to feel what's like ... the side effects the emotions etc....
that's all we want - it is gone.
What I am doing now is to eat healthy and right... check my emotions from time to time and don't be stress...
