I don't have any sage advice but hope it does the trick. Would you have access to a second opinion/clinical trial? Xx

Hi

I believe rubraca is known as Rucaparib in the UK.

I have low grade serous oc and have been on this drug for 18 months.

I am not brca. (But I do have a variant of unknown significance) I am probably not platinum sensitive (due to being low grade) . the drug company let me have it for free, so they can see if it works as well on ladies who are not brca as it does with ladies who are.

I thought I may as well give it a go and see if it works for me. My onc is happy that it is keeping the disease stable so I will continue to take it for the foreseeable future.

Made me quite sick at first, but found taking it after food helped. Plus I was very tired. But seems a less invasive treatment than chemo.

I guess you will only know if it will work for you by trying it.

I really hope it does and look forward to hearing how it goes.

Vx
