Hello Everyone,

I did a bilateral oophorectomy six months ago and now having a flow.

My doctor said it’s normal!

Anyone had a similar issue ?

I would really like a second opinion!

As per the replies to your previous post- you should see another doctor. This forum can share experiences and opinions but you need to see a doctor for diagnosis. Either see another doctor locally in the practice or get a referral to another one. The people on here cannot diagnose for you. See another doctor sooner rather than later to ease your worry.

best wishes

I went for a second opinion I was told the same as my Gyn team it’s normal to have a period with just a womb and it’s something I have to expect now.

Life is weird!

Glad you got a second opinion so quickly. As you say life is weird.

My just be worth giving Ovacome support service a ring on the number Lesley supplied below. It is good to talk to someone who understands us and who does not rush and dismiss you as quickly as they can. Not saying that they did that to you but it does often happen.

Best wishes

As Fay has said, you will need to see a doctor for a second opinion. But, if you want to talk anything over, try the Ovacome Support service on the freephone 0800 008 7054

All the best,

Lesley
