You have been on my mind this last week as I too had carbo platinum last Friday so know exactly how you have been feeling! This is my 3rd recurrence I was diagnosed in 2012 with stage 4 I find keeping a journal of how you are feeling each day's helps then when you have your next chemo you will find the horrible side effects usually follow s pattern. Be kind to yourself take a little exercise when you are feeling like it and rest when your body tells you! All the best for the future. Pam x

Hi I started on carbo with taxol and the taxol had to be halted due to neuraphay in hands and feet.Free from chemo for 16 months! Chemo again in Oct 2014 carbo/gemcitabine and Avastin for 18 weeks clear of chemo almost 2 year. Avastin stopped as kidneys were showing signs of weaking, 3 months after cancer back was then on carbo/ caelyx 10 months free from chemo now back on carbo only for 18 weeks the joys of this bloody disease. In answer to your question no I haven't been on any particular protocol I have simply put all my trust in my oncologist. Take care Pam x

I was thinking about you today and wandering how you where getting on, today is day 6 post chemo for me and I felt so much better, than I have these past few days. Remember take each day as it comes, go at your pace.

Thanks for thinking of me Ellsey. So pleased that your feeling better. I’ve slept most of the day again . It’s really hit me this time . Hopefully I will have more energy tomorrow. Everything tastes awful .
