This seems controversial and strong views in each camp but anyone out there doing this or have any experience to share. I’m always interested in complementing my treatments with other tools/supplements etc.

The coffee enema
Hello!
I had a coffee enema about a year ago. I'm a huge advocate of colonic irrigation but, I do respect it is not for everyone. At my local colonic clinic they often offer a coffee enema pre- colonic! It's pretty good for cleaning the liver of toxins to say the least. It's always best to consultant your med team and then naturally make your own choice.
I prefer not to take meds but, unfortunately us ladies have no choice. We all know meds can leave you feeling very groggy and I certainly found the enema helpful. My head was clearer and I felt somewhat rejuvenated! My recommendation would be to call a clinic and have a chat with them by telephone about the benefits.
Best wishes Clare
Only heard good things tbh. Not done myself as unfortunately oncologist was adamant for me NOT to do in no uncertain terms! Told me to TAKE her seriously! 🙄
Having said that I’ve def not ruled them out completely, and really want another colonic soon if I can. Had one pre second line chemo in Feb. Am not sure if colonics and chemo mix so will have to bide my time.
Funny enough I did post on my FB & IG pages about 💩, bowel movements & constipation & it’s been one of my most popular posts!!
Xxx
Who doesn’t need to have a good chat about poo lol! Constipation is miserable as sin. You then take something that creates another problem. Our poor bodies! I’m trying to listen to mine more intently but it’s hard to do when ‘experts’ opinions can sideblind you. I’ve never had a colonic so I think it’s about time I tried it! Sarah, thank you for taking time writing, I know you are feeling pants at the moment. Hopefully you are feeling a little better than you were. Love Kerry
