Good News

Hope you are all in good spirit. Just back from a 3 week break to South Africa to visit all my family. Fantastic time there. On my return had my 3 month check up and scan. It was all clear so I am told the next scan will be in a 1 years time and a follow up in 3 months.Feeling 90% near back to normal.May 2017 will be one year since surgery and diagnosis.The only negative in my mind is that fear of recurrence but with all the brave ladies having 2nd 3rd and other treatment i try and be hopeful i can fight it again if it recurs. The funny thing is the onc seems more positive than me and says carry on as normal now.

Congratulations! Scary to go a whole year, but so many have gone 5 to 15 years with no recurrence, we can do it, too.

Thanks. Same here .37 years in the U.K now but still have lots of family in Cape Town so need to go back for visits and sometimes just to get some sunshine.
