Sometimes I think I should have my own bed here the amount of times I’ve been in over the last few years! CNS sent me to get stronger pain relief from my GP yesterday as the pain in my rib cage had become unbearable. He sent me to hospital where I have spent the night, now waiting for CT scan. Consultant thinks there is fluid caused by an enlarged liver pushing my diaphragm up which is causing the pain. Definitely some liver impairment from the tests which indicates disease progression into my liver - not the best news. I know that chemo can still help, but everybody always thinks the worse when it’s in the liver. Not good 😢

Hospital stay again.
Just sending a big huge virtual hug. Hold on in there. Things are never as bad as our imagination might tell us. I hope they are able to do something for the pain and offer a way forward to attack the bugger.xxx
Sorry to hear you are in again Becky. Hold the thought that chemo can still help. Hope you are comfortable. Do keep us updated when you are able to. Sending you a hug. Kathy xx
Wishing you all the best results from your CT-scan. Pain relief and a plan will have you sorted soon.
All the best!
Really sorry to hear this Becky. I hope that at least you've now got some effective pain relief? Waiting for a scan especially in hospital is always horrible and brings up all those fears, but once scan is done your team will know what they are dealing with and be able to treat it so you'll feel better.
Thoughts very much with you

Sorry Becky...hopefully they will sort the pain for you but being in hospital is demoralising. Let’s hope they let you go sooner rather than later xx
Really sorry to hear that you are in hospital again but hopefully you are in the right place to get your pain under control. Hope the results of the scan are more positive than you think. Chris
Hope all goes well Becky, thinking of you xx 🌺
It is hard when you are in hospital your mind has plenty of time for the thoughts that come and live with us. But ladies will liver spots have often done well far better than anticipated by their oncologist so hold on to this thought please
Hi Beckyih, Sorry you are back in hospital I hope it's sorted out as soon as possible and your home soon..Take care Lorraine xx🎉🎉
Wishing you all the best xxx
Hope everything turns out well, Becky. Sending my best wishes and some 🌸🌼🌺🌹🌻🌸🌼🌺 to brighten a grey morning. Jo x
Hi Becky
Just sending hugs of support and hoping the problem is sorted soon and you can get home again.💐xx
I always joke that I have a season ticket for A &E as my bowel obstructions make me a regular visitor! Liver tumours can be removed surgically,I had one removed in 2011 as well as a surprise one in my diaphragm.Good luck.
