There is so much sadness on here at the moment, so I hope you don't mind me posting a happy photo. Meet Thomas, my 4th grandchild, born on Tuesday morning weighing 7lb 10oz. Before I was diagnosed (24th December, 2012!) I had no grandchildren and now I have four!!! It's been a very difficult year for me after losing my lovely husband in March but my lovely family (including two new grandchildren since then) have kept me going and I know how lucky I am to have them. This crappy disease messes with our bodies and our minds but it can't take away our love.
So i'm sending you all the best Christmas present anyone can give ...... love. ❤

Beautiful. Couldn’t have said it better. I’ve had 3 grandchildren since diagnosis and they make it worth fighting.
Quick giggle for you all my eldest who’s 3 made us laugh when his grandad pinched a bit of his sandwich and he told him ‘grandad Santa’s watching you, you’re on the naughty list now’. Little moments like that are priceless.
Haha they're great aren't they Jill? My eldest grandchold (Thomas's big brother) is nearly 2 1/2 and he comes out with the most amazing things. ☺. Have a lovely family Christmas. X
Liz I’m so pleased you did post this. I actually came on yesterday to do a catch up post and was going to then ended up updating about Ann as a few ladies had asked.
A wonderful post that will lift many hearts today. Every day is so precious and how special these years have been for you although not without real heartbreak and challenge. I’m so glad we have had the pleasure of meeting face to face and spending time together.
Congratulations Mummybear (still my favourite name for you) on another beautiful grandchild 💙
Thank you. This time of year can be difficult so I'm so lucky to have such an amazing family to get me through hard times and to help me appreciate every moment.
This photo is a tonic- I wish I could see my four granddaughters more often but at least the oldest ones can chat on the phone now. You look so happy holding Thomas!
Wonderful. Thank you for sharing such a hopeful post. A reminder that the best memorial we can make for our teal sisters is to make the most of the rest of our time here xx 🌻🌺🌸🌼🌹
