Hi all, I finished 2nd line Carboplatin and caelyx in Sept and great news I WENT INTO REMISSION AGAIN. Started to have more energy then 2 weeks ago I found a swelling on the right side of my neck no lumps just a swelling which seem to appear overnight. Got in touch with CNS who organised an appointment with local gynae consultant. To cut a long story short due a CT scan with contrast on Friday. Please don,t let it be another reoccurence but I think it maybe. Chris
IT WAS ALL GOING SO WELL: Hi all, I finished 2nd... - My Ovacome

Bloody hell Chris that would be sooo unfair....here's hoping it isn't xxx L
Thinking of you Chris and hoping that you get good news, wouldn't that be the best Christmas present ? Try not to stress (geez that's easier said than done). Big Hug. Kathy xx
Fingers and toes crossed that it's nothing sinister to worry about. Seems we all get on an even keel then something else comes along and bites us on the bum!! Thinking of you. Ali. Xx
Hi Chris. Let’s hope this is just a blip, am thinking of you and hoping all will be better than you anticipate. Am seeing ‘our’ consultant next Friday, so will look out for you. Love & a hug. Carolyn x
Hello Chris
Let's hope it's unrelated. Good luck with the scan on Friday, how long do you have to wait for the results?
Thinking of you and hope all goes well on Friday xxxx
Hi Chris, I hope all goes well for you and that the swelling is nothing sinister. Take care and try not to stress too much easier said than done though! Pam x
Hi Chris
Fingers and everything take crossed that this is not related to OC!
Best wishes

DEAREST Juliet, Thank you for taking the time to reply with all the rotten things that are happening to you at the moment. What a bloody awful disease we are dealing with I hope your situation as improved . Thinking of you. Chris
Or it could just be some inflammation, the oncologists are a bit gloomy sometimes, they thought I had cancer in a lymph node which turned out to be an unrelated swelling.
Fingers crossed for good news, positivity rules and is winging it's way to you

I have everything crossed for you here Chris that it's nothing sinister...thinking of you...easier said than done but try not to waste precious energy worrying until you know what's what...I hope you continue to feel well in yourself. Jemima xx
Hopefully not Chris.....if it is....hopefully more treatment. Virtual hugs, Chris xx
Thanks Chris, Hope the taxol is treating you kindly. Chris
Thanks Chris, visited my local onc. today....she was going to carry on with it for another cycle but said she thought the Marsden's protocol was to have a weeks break....decided on the latter! No scan yet as CA125 although it went up slightly at the beginning of this line of treatment, has remained stable during it...suits me at present as my bloods are, we think, still being affected by the Niraparib.
Good luck with your scan...let us know won't you? love Chris xxx
Fingers crossed, Chris, for a false alarm. Every good wish for positive news Jo 🌻🌺🌹🌼🌸
Positive vibes coming your way.No worry no stress it will not change whatever the lump is.You are strong and will manage whatever the news. Here's hoping it is all good. Lots of love. Take care.xxx
Keeping fingers crossed that it’s unrelated! I seem to be about a month behind you having finished carbo/ caelyx in October but getting scan results today so can understand the worry! Hang on in there as others have said it might just be a bit of inflammation 🌹🌼
Hi Chris, keep up your sprites swelling does not always mean a recurrence, cross my fingers for you🤞🤞.
Glad Carboplatin and carlyx was successfull and good your consultant has got booked in for Friday, keep us updated take care Lorraine xx
I feel for you and can imagine how you have gone into that spiral thinking where we end up miles away from what could be happening. I've just started my second line carbo/caelyx and will be just like you when it ends with worry. I really hope you get good news. Please let us know. Xx
Oh Chris! You don’t know that it isn’t going well still. I’m glad that you are having a scan and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it’s nothing. Hopefully by the time you get your results the lump will have resolved itself and it will just be one of those things. Have you had your CA125 done too?
Vicki x
Crossing everything for you, so hope it's not a recurrence. xxx
Chris--here also crossing fingers and toes and everything else. I hope the scan and results go quickly for you and good news after!!!!
Judy
Thanks, really sorry that the immunotherapy did not work for you, are you on other treatment. I hope it' is doing its stuff. Chris
I am now in carbo/caelyx (doxil) with a very good response to the first one (ca125 from 253 to56) and my one says he doesn't think I will need all six treatments. Question is when to start maintenance PARP-- when it starts to rise again (so I can have some no- treatment time) or immediately. I know there are some time constraints and will add that to questions for next visit.
Thinking of you!

Thinking of you Chris. I hope everything comes back positive for you and you continue with a long remission. I pray there is very little wait time for results. Sending hugs your way.
Peggy xx
Thinking of you and hoping all will be well. I like you had been clear for a long time and Never crossed my mind it would recur. I was diagnosed in 2005 age 47 stage 1c (10 years clear) and had recurrence in peritoneum Dec 2015. Had carbo/taxol. Keeping my fingers crossed and sending you my love xxxx
