Is it possible to have a reacurance although you have NED and only 1A serous cell ? Full hysterectomy and 6 carboplatin .
I seem to be having a lot of bloating the last couple of weeks and feel very tired .
Been NED 1 year . Am I over thinking ?

Yes it is possible, worth a visit to the GP and a call to your oncology team for a scan just t make sure there is nothing going on. I recurred after three years 1C with a low CA125 and NED scan. Don't put it off it's better to have them put your mind at rest.

Thankyou .
I’m just a little worried .
I went to GP a couple of weeks ago with increasing indigestion was put on omoprozole which worked initially but now the indigestion is back alongside with bloating and I feel like I have a low ache in my pelvic area .. I had a scan around 3 months ago but nothing showed up ? I’ll go Gp on Monday thankyou .
I would have a CA125 just in case although with low grade it doesn't always show up, they will probably scan you again to be sure.
Yes I’m going to make an appointment .
I had high grade cells so I’m classed as high risk in terms of reacurance and my ca125 was only 35 at diagnosis ... fingers crossed as it’s only been a year .. I’ve only just got my life back 😊
Hi Coxsar. I just wanted to echo Lily-Anne’s wise words and also to say I’m sorry you’re going through this. From your profile our cases sound very similar. The fear is still very much there regardless of our staging. Would your doctor consider a PET-CT? I only ask as my oncologist prefers these for their higher sensitivity of smaller amounts of disease and since your last, quite recent, scan was clear (which is great!) your doctor may not see the value in another CT so soon as the likelihood of visible disease occurring in that time is low. Here’s hoping your symptoms are benign.... I find it very easy to blame any symptoms I have on the chemo, even after many months. Good luck xx Kirsty
Thankyou I’m not a neurotic person normally but because I have a few symptoms I had last time I feel it’s all going to happen again... perhaps I am being neurotic lol but I’ll see how I go thanks got your reply x
You’re not being neurotic at all!!! We must listen to our bodies and that is exactly what you are doing. In saying that, I have recently learnt the word “cancerchondriac” and it totally applies to me! I have a headache! Is it brain cancer?? I have a sore on my arm! Is it skin cancer? I have a rumbling tummy! Is my ovarian cancer back? 😬😬😬
I’d get it checked out, it quite possibly isn’t anything but best to be sure, this bloody awful disease makes us far more body conscious and sometimes we can over think things but it’s always best to be sure. Let us know how you get on, good luck lovely ❤️Xx Jane
