Well everyone. Here I am in hospital again after 3 days of constant diahorrea . They are trying to find out the cause. So bored, even though I've got my iPad, book and hospital TV. Just don't want to be hereπ Finished my last chemo middle of August and was hoping for a few months off but it's looking extremely likely that I will be back on something shortly. So really fed up. My positivity seems to have run away at the moment. Trying hard to get it back. Anyway, moan over. Hope everyone is doing ok. π»π»ππ
FED UP: Well everyone. Here I am in hospital... - My Ovacome
FED UP
Sending you a big π€ itβs rotten being in Hospital especially the food lol
Are they going to scan you?
LA xx
Hi Lily-Anne, luckily I haven't been allowed proper food until tonight . Just been on liquids . Had the hotpot which wasn't too bad however I think they must boil their broccoli for three days. I will be given another scan but hopefully as an outpatient if I can go home tomorrow . Take care ππ
Moan away Chris. I was gonna say that's c**p, but I won't! Do they have any idea what's causing it given you finished your last chemo in August? Feel for you I really do, I'd rather be at home any day of the week, in your own bed. Sending you a big hugxxx Kathy xxx
Oh Kathy, I love your posts always a little chuckle in there somewhere thank you so much . I think I may have picked up a bug but still waiting for a couple of results to come through . I will be scanned later but hopefully as an outpatient because I wanna go home π Love Chris ππ
will come and see you if your still there Chris! let me know which hospital!!! love Chris xxx
Hi Chris. Thank you, what a lovely person you are. I am in Southampton general but the dr said I should be able to go home tomorrow. I have just had a liver function test and awaiting results from that. Will text you tomorrow and let you know. Hope you are not feeling too badππ
Your name came up yesterday as one of 3 'similar to me'. Sorry to hear you are having a torrid time in hospital...time goes so slowly. It's purgatory I know even though I was only in for a few days after surgery and one night for pleural effusion
Hope they sort you out quickly and get you onto another chemo regime that suits. I read your posts. This disease really sends you up and down the snakes and ladders trail as one lady so eruditely surmised.... so hope you find the next ladder soon β€οΈ π π€Ήπ»ββοΈ π βοΈ π π
Hugs from Janet x
Thank you Janet , I will be searching for that ladder shortly . Big hugs to you too ππ
Oh Chris, poor you. Itβs rubbish being in hospital. I hope they are able to sort you out soon so you can go home. Big hugs and love β€οΈXx Jane
Hi Jane , thank you for your reply . That's what I love about this site so much support from wonderful people unfortunately we never get to meet. Hope you're doing okay . ππ
Go for it and βmoanβ all you like Chris. Youβve every reason to. Hopefully youβll get home soon. Itβs sometimes just not possible to be positive and thatβs fine. It too shall pass and then there will be good stuff in future days....
Take care
Netti x
Hi Netti, such wise words and I know they are true. This will pass and I will start the fight again . I hope you're doing ok. ππ
What a nightmare three days of diarrhoea must be. Hope the cause is found soon and you can go home. iPads and hospital tv, not to mention the food, just cannot compare with home!
Thank you, hoping to go home today xx
Hi Chris
I really hope you escape tomorrow....being in hospital sucks! You will feel better about everything once you have your own bed/food/loo! xxL
Hi Lundy, hopefully will be home today. Xx
So sorry you are feeling so bad. Well wishes lots of hugs and prayers sent your way. Hopefully they will get you fixed up and home where your more comfortable soon.
Thank you xxx
When a good moan is needed go for it!

Hi Chris
Sorry you are feeling so bad, it just drains all your energy coping with misbehaving bowels and being in hospital ! Hereβs hoping you get out soon and back to your own home where I am sure you will feel much better and get that positivity back! Sending love and hugs
Jane xx
Hi Jane, thanks for reply. Hoping to go home today πππ»
So sorry you're stuck in hospital. What a shame. Let's hope you're quickly sorted out. Bad enough having diahorrea, without being there. You have a good old moan......... love, Solange ππ
Thank you. Hopefully home today, fingers crossed. Xxx
Hi Chris kind thoughts winging their way to you, I hope the tummy is improving. It could be a bug so try not to worry yet, it is daunting thinking about further chemo but you do find you can do it when it starts, all the best
Hi everyone , first of all thank you so much for all your replies it really does mean a lot when you're feeling down . It's like being wrapped in a big blanket of love and caring . Good news is I am now home . Came home on Friday . They seem to think I had a stomach bug but tests were inconclusive . Feeling a bit week but I am sure I will pick up in the next few days . I know things are going again but my lovely oncologist came to see me on the ward and told me she has managed to get hold of a drug called Niraparib for me . It's on its way and she will phone me when it arrives . We are hoping it will give me a bit of a break before I start my next chemo . I've tried to research it and it appears that good results have been had in the trials . So fingers crossed it will work for me because the longer between chemo sessions the better. Love and hugs to all you beautiful ladies ππππ»π»π»
