Anyone know if it's possible to build up a resistance to taxol?

When my special person was diagnosed her Onc said cancer cells build up a resistance to the drugs that’s why first line is Carbo/Taxol then Carbo/Gem for example carboplatin is the hardest drug to build a resistance to which is why it’s the most favoured to use xxx

I think I meant is it possible to build up a tolerance for the taxol. Confused much?

That purely depends on the person you can only hope you build up a tolerance to it maybe in a reduced dose to make it easier?? Xx

You can become resistant to any drug as your body becomes used to it. That includes antibiotics
