Surgery now the wait

Just home from my surgery for removal of a complex cyst Fallopian tubes and ovaries .Feeling battered and sore but pleased to be home . Due to complications I ended up sending the night in recovery only returning to the ward the next morning . My surgeon was amazing came to see me numerous times I had tachycardia and a low BP and had bled significantly from one of my incisions . He was concerned I may have had to return to theatre but fortunetly it settled . I had been holding onto the hope that my cyst was benign but something in my conversations with him now makes me feel other wise . I asked him if it was endometriosis he said not but wouldn't b e further drawn. Now the wait again to find out it's all the waiting I know it's only a matter of weeks since my first scans end of May but doesn't feel like forever . Love to all and it's great to be home 🏡 x

Home is the best place now for your ongoing recovery. Listen to your body and REST! What will be will be & whatever the outcome, it sounds like you're in good hands. Keep us posted on the outcome of the pathology but until then, listen to your body and allow yourself good time to heal. You and your body have been through a lot. Jemima xx

It's good that you're now home, the hospital stay does seem interminable doesn't it. Do as little as possible, if people want to help you let them, be kind to you and heal gently. It does sound like you are in very good hands so try not to worry, it won't change any outcomes, I know it's easier said than done but do try and get well in readiness for whatever they tell you re the histology reports. Sending you lots of healing love and very gentle virtual hugs ❤️Xx Jane
