Hi Ladies,

My mum has just completed 3 rounds of chemo and is due surgery in the next few weeks scan depending.

Mum sometimes feels discomfort at night and a burning sensation in her tummy. Has anyone else experienced this before?

Wishing you all well xxx

HinEmma Louise, sorry to hear of your mums discomfort, I wonder if it's a bit if acid? I suffered badly with it when I was first on chemo and was prescribed omeprazole which helped. Xx

I too had lots of acid reflux while on chemo, maybe samecwith your mum? Speak to the oncology team to check it out. ❤xx Jane

I get a lot of wind on chemo Walking about helps. Has she told the care team?

in reply to LesleyGreengran

So do I - it's almost instant, both ends and goes on for a good week.... Have you found anything to help? It can get a bit embarrassing, like at Tai Chi last night! I had hoped Movicol might help and I certainly am more comfortable, but still with the wind.....
