Swallowing discomfort

Anyone feel discomfort swallowing who is being treated with caelyx? Just wonder if its my acid reflux playing up or a side effect! Thanks

Yes I have the same problem reflux and take omeprazel to help happens at night when I lie down had results of scan today working well so far. Take care jenny xx

Thanks jenny. I do take 1 omeprozole for a hiatis hernia I will up to 2 I think. Glad you doing ok, my scan after next chemo on the 4th so fingers crossed. Take care x

Caelyx working well tumors reduced thank goodness hope you get good results too its my oncs. favourite chemo for OV. xxx

Hi Jenny, I have PPC and good to see that reply! I am just back from oncologist app and due to start Caelyx a week on Monday for 2nd recurrence. x

I had trouble with swallowing whilst on caelyx and I was told the chemo aggravates the digestive tract from your mouth to your bum. Good luck with your scan results x

Hi, I didn't have any problems swallowing, but I was given omeorazole as soon as I started caelyx, so maybe that's why?

Hope increasing the dose of omneprazole works, I took 2 x 20 mg per day.
