Can't believe I'm here really .. but , had my end of treatment results today and I'm apparently cancer free !!! Such a weird feeling and place to be ? Was diagnosed last August , obviously totally out of the blue like most of us !.. Anyway, subsequently, graded stage 3c high grade serous.. matching ileostomy!!! Didn't think I would even see Christmas to be honest!
Lovely Oncologist today, very optimistic and realistic! Says it may well come back , but may well leave me alone 😁... my own GP actually said that OV is a cancer that is very treatable and , quote, a good one to have ! 😳...
Enjoying this eve with a drink or two 🍷🍾..
Massive thanks to all of you , who have made this awful disease almost bearable ..
I'm still on here every day , and will always be I guess ?

Have to confess that certainly can't take the wine 🍷 in the quantities that I used to ! 🤕... guess that's a good thing in the long run !!! Will have to redeem myself by going on a healthy walk !... despite my sore head, I'm still feeling elated 🎉🍾.. long may it last eh ?
Nursing bit of a head this morning 🤕🍷!! Feeling elated despite this though.. Everything seems brighter today, the cloud that we all live in has lifted somewhat, if it returns then we will deal with it won't we ladies !

I've an appointment on March the 24th for a gastrografin enema, plus a sigmoid endoscopy ( sounds like fun!! ) this is to check that the bowel had repaired well before commencing with the reversal.. hoping it's quick , my stoma is always on the go!!! 😳.
I want to add my congrats and to say that you look fantastic . Your post gives such hope especially to stage 3c high grade serous women. It shows that there can be light at the end of the tunnel . Well done .

Hi Jackie , I forgot to mention I was diagnosed with staged 3c high grade serous that metastasised into my peritoneum. Just finished my chemo treatment of carbo/taxol 2weeks ago and went for my ct scan yesterday so I'm praying I will have the same result as you.. Take care..xxx
You'll be fine I can feel it ! Every step of this journey is bloody worrying isn't it ? Firstly getting through the chemo, keeping pretty much germ free ! Watching out for a temperature, scared to death of getting septis!!
Then the all important scans and results, takes up all of our time doesn't it?
I'm actually kind of past worrying now to be honest , I really have accepted that " what will be will be " like we all know can't change it by worrying!!
