Just thought I would post a pic of my hair diary. Lol. Can't wait for it to grow back for good this time. Don't think I'll go long again but will aim for the Bob. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

What a fantastic photo collection, love it and so good to see how others have coped and are coping.

You really suit the scarf too, I tried but felt I looked like a peasant potato farmer from the 16th century.... ( no offence to any peasant potato farmers reading this)

Take care

Hi Clare. Aww. Thank you. I wear the scarves and bandanas and bobble hats more than I wear the wig. Wig is middle pic. It itches a bit and nips my ears. Seems to have got a bit tatty too.

My other half wore my bandanas in the summer. They suited him πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I hope all is ok with you xxx

Brilliant photos ... you look amazing all the way through your journey ... I'm sure this will help others that are facing hair loss ❀

Thank you. Yes hopefully it will help others. I had long thick hair and would never get it trimmed.

To know I was going to lose it all absolutely scared me. But it's just hair and it does grow back. I've saved a fortune on shampoo etc.

I hope all is ok with you. Xxx

It does bring it home how much you spend on hair care shaving waxing .... my hair has begun to grow back longer on my legs than on my head I've got out of the habit of shaving lol ... I'm returning to work next eeek my knees are knocking 😳πŸ’ͺ🏻

Lol. I must have saved a fortune on electricity too. Not using my hair dryer and hot brush.

I'm going back to work on 27th Feb. I'm really nervous too. Been off since last June. I'm sure I'm going to forget everything. Especially with chemo brain.

I hope you get on ok. Are you doing phased return? I am. I've asked for a bed too so I can still have my afternoon nap. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚xxxxx

Ditto with chemo brain it's terrible I know in my head I want to say strawberry but out if my mouth comes raspberry I am completely aware I've said the wrong thing doh! Yes phased return a couple of mornings ... fear of unknown again I've been off since April 2016 ... I'm sure that all will be ok but I know I'm still not myself if you know what I mean😳

I know exactly what you mean. Cancer changes us. I'm sure you will get on just fine. I'm sure our bosses will make allowances for us. We need time to settle back in.

I work in a college. There are new staff and new students. I'll never remember their names. Can barely remember mine. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚xxxx

I expect I am going to say the wrong thing here, but I,ve always found that as well as looking younger, women with no hair have a sort of timeless beauty and look of wisdom about them. A sense of primeval, powerful, spirit. O.k I,ll stop!. But it,s true, I think so anyway. Love picky 4 and the last one with the scarf....... P.s my friend ( we are sat gossiping while watching Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills and eating fudge having decided to diet tomorrow ...well we managed to hold out until 3pm) my friend Bev says you are absolutely beautiful. Suzanne you Rock!. Best wishes and good thoughts on returning to work ladies. x x

Hi and thank you. I too am watching the real housewives of Beverley hills. Can't believe how they live.

I agree about bald headed women. They have this sort of striking powerful look. I do want my hair back but being bald isn't really that bad when you get used to it. People have said I look younger.

I'm glad my moustache fell out too. πŸ˜‚

Have a lovely afternoon with the TV and fudge. I've not got any fudge. I'm eating soup. Lol.

Take care.

Hi Suzanne your pics are a tribute to your journey and you look amazing in them! I too have decided no long hair for me not by choice of course but do feel it gives me a sense of freedom... I did kinda like my bald head.. eventually....I thought I looked quite cool.. with a touch of lippy that is! Refused to look the victim that's for sure! All the best Love Michelle xx

Love your collection, mine is starting to come back in I look like tin tin, with a wave at the back and stick straight at the front. I am going to get it to a pixie cut and leave it like that for now. It's the waiting for it to grow back in that gets too me, although loosing my hair was hard I tell myself I am alive and it will grow back.

Hi Ellsey

Definitely. We are alive and that's what matters. Hair is just hair. It comes back.

Aww. I think the tin tin look would look good. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Brave woman! I'm sure it was hard for you as your hair were so long and beautiful. You look good in that scarf! Keep smiling and you will get your hair back (probably curly) in no time πŸ˜‰

Hi Zaneta.

Yes it was hard at first. I was reluctant to have it shaved off but I looked like a manky cat.

I'm hoping my hair will grow back curly I would like that πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Hoping you are ok xxxx

I agree about young women looking good with no hair, but as an older person I look like a frog. I catch sight of myself in the mirror and recoil! It is beginning to grow now, along with the handlebar moustache and luxuriant beard.

Great photos - I think it helps to pull the bald look off because you're a pretty lady. It'd be really good to chart and post your hair growth in the same format. I put the order in for curly hair but got the same fine, straight hair unfortunately :(.
