Hi all you lovely ladies who posted a reply you have all made me feel sooooo much better about my first chemo,also lots of good tips hopefully a will be able to post on weds that I sailed through it.A BIG Thank You xc

Wishing you well on your treatment, it is not as bad as you expect. Your team will make it as easy as they can and give you anti nausea tablets etc. You may also need something for constipation. So plenty of water to stay hydrated, have in some plain biscuits, prunes in juice ginger ale or seven up and marmite. These are some of the things you might like when you may not feel like eating. It is a huge blow to get and you have had the surgery so the chemo will now sort the rest of the disease. Wishing you the very best and let us know how you are doing

Don't forget to keep a diary of side effects - it is very useful to be able to look back and see a pattern as time goes on.
