Big Thank you to all you lovely ladies who liked or responded to my post yesterday with your kind comments. I would have like to respond to each and every one of you but I'd have run out of ink! I hope that you all take inspiration from my post and what can sometimes be achieved. There isn't a day goes by I now think 'why me', something I never thought when first diagnosed but often think now after all these years, 'why me' why have I managed to carry on for the last 10 years. I wish I knew the answer, I really do. Never give up ladies. Love and Hugs to you all xx Kathy xx

Just saw your post Chris, so sorry you are having a tough time. I do remember how it feels to be in hospital. When I had a similar thing, in a side room on my own for a week I threatened to walk out in the end and said I might as well go home and end things if I couldn't be helped - got me a visit from a Consultant Phsychiatrist - sometimes ppl just don't get my sense of humour! Keep your chin up lady we are all routing for you xxx

Wow Kathy! I'd missed your original post but how this makes me grin, especially as your previous post talks about Olaparib still working. All this warms my heart, & gives me hope. We all need a bit of that don't we?!

I honestly believe that there are better things in life, just waiting for me to discover them, and your posts makes me think that ANYTHING is possible.

Thank You!! ❤️

Hi lovely,

You ask “Why me?” I’ll tell you why because ladies with OC and supporters who aren’t so lucky and have consistent reoccurrences need a strong willed woman for inspiration at their lowest points and that’s exactly what you are a strong willed woman who can help others with information gained over the years you’re a complete complete inspiration to me and my special person and to be honest it’s your story that keeps us going that just maybe there is that ‘magic’ treatment out there that’ll do the same for my special person, so here’s to many more years completely free from this son of a bitch disease xxx

Kathy

You inspire everyone. I'm in my seventh year and my ambition is to keep following you so you have to stay in the race for all of us who are trying yo catch up on you ! Yesterday I was at the funeral of a woman who was in her 104th year and I wondered what she did right although I'm not sure I want to be around quite that long ! I want to be around long enough to see a major breakthrough in this horrible disease even if I don't benefit from it . So stay ahead of us Kathy so we can follow in your footsteps . Take care

I'll try.... not sure I want to make 104 either to be honest, like yourself just long enough to see a breakthrough with Cancer. xx

Exactly Never give up, you are amazing Kathy, and an inspiration, I was diagnosed last year 2016, had surgery, chemo, and then yeh! no trace of cancer! but it has come back again, so Monday I begin Caelyx and Carboplatin, this should work my oncologist says, it is just a matter of finding a something that makes it go away and not reoccur again, but my doctor says we manage this like a chronic illness. By the way I was diagnosed Stage 3c OC but it was not in organs, bones or lymph nodes
