I received good news today that my ct scan after surgery and chemo has come back and the results are all clear. No evidence of disease. I can't quite believe it. Ca125 is at 8.
It's been one hell of a year getting here, and now I can focus on getting back to some new normal. I can't wait for better health. Onwards and upwards.

Wonderful news We're off to see the consultant tommorow to find out the news after my wifes surgery (we're finding out histology etc) - so this is exactly the kind of news I wanted to read to help us relax for the evening.

Such good news to read Mandy. I really hope that you can believe it, relax and breathe out !! It can be quite a transition to get back to normal (whatever that is!!) after such a structured chemo/regular medical appointments routine. Hopefully you can have a celebration to mark such a great result.
Iv only had 5 avastin so far but seam to be doing ok on it. Just started with a runny nose. I'm glad I had the opportunity to have it though. Think I will be done about August next year. How has your ca125 been while on it??
Brilliant Mandy and Congratulations ...... I know the feeling very well with my wife Gauri showing NED in June this year after five months of agony. Its now six months since the last chemo and so far, all is well, even the acute neuropathy bit is now history. We decided against Avastin due to the side effects and so here we are.
Woo hoo πExcellent news, congratulations, what a fabulous early Christmas present you've just been given. Enjoy your new normal it's great. It takes a little bit of adjusting to not being on the chemo treadmill but you'll do it x. Sending big hugs β€οΈXx
So so pleased for you, I am ten weeks Ned and actually now starting to feel a lot more positive about life, enjoy your early Christmas present with your family and friends, each day gets better.
