1st chemo session over :) : Hey guys had my first... - My Ovacome
1st chemo session over :)
Well done !!
Thank you
You look very relaxed, such a lovely photo. Remember to keep a little diary of how you feel each day as every cycle will likely repeat itself. By which I mean, if you have diarrhoea on Day 4 you are likely to always have it on Day 4. It helps tremendously with planning when and what you can and cannot do. All the best! Helen
Well done Leianne...... one down.....5 to go (presume you are on 6 cycles)! Agree with the diary suggestion as it is very handy to keep track of how you feel! Take it easy and drink loads of water it will help with lots of the side effects!
Be good to yourself and I hope you don't suffer too badly with the side effects!
Onwards and Upwards!!!
Dx
Well Leianne one down, certainly be very proud of yourself. Remember your team are at the end of the phone if you find your anti sick isnt working and they have answers to all our problems. It is hard going into treatment but it is more settling once your start, Rest when you can and maybe eat small amounts more often instead of the usual big meals and plenty of fluids.
Well done love xx
Well done, another step in the right direction. Lovely pic . Hope you sail through. All the best, Sx

Hi Lianne. Glad to hear it went well. Hopefully you wont get too many side effects but if you do listen to your body, take things easy. Wishing you well.
Kathy
Well done. The first is always the worst as it is a leap into the unknown and after that you can predict what will happen when you are in the chemo unit. Hope the rest of chemo goes well for you and you don't get too many side effects.
One step closer!!! The first is the worst, well for me anyway. Facing the unknown. I had a bad reaction to the first one (I'll spare the details), but we learned through that experience that the dose had to be cut back....the silver lining in that black cloud, I guess
