Hi Suzuki,

Yes I received the same message. Was just gonna post on here to see if anyone else had received it. I certainly will not be forwarding my email address. Can health unlocked block the user do u think? It's rather weird?

Have you just received such a message, as this thread is two years old?

Hi I have recieved it too, I have been very silly and responded via email, I have been worrying ever since, it has also upset my husband that I could have been so stupid.

It's an easy mistake to make. What sort of email address do you have? Gmail? Hotmail? You can easily ditch it and get another.. If it's an email attached to a domain, you can lose that too. Don't worry about it but whatever you do don't click on any links that are sent to you via email from anyone unless you're sure who they are.

I reported it last night as it looked dodgy - I got two PMs as well ;) xx

Thank you I have blocked the email, how. cruel is that.

Try not to worry he is a scammer and when you get an email back block him, I havent acted but did report him to Health Unlocked not that it would be tommorow before they review and remove. I think they monitor the site anyhow

Don't respond to him. He could be a scammer.. xx

I googled him and he is indeed a scammer so put a post up on healthunlocked fb page to have him removed from site, probably wont be done until tomorrow tho

I didn't get the message but just thought I'd say I like the new profile pic. Is it a choir one? I sing in a local choir too - isn't it brilliant therapy?! x

Can I ask how do you put a profile photo on. ??? 😊

in reply toJuliette35

I went to edit my profile and got an option to add photo so I clicked that and that took me to my saved photos and this one popped up so I used it and then clicked upload and saved.

Oh thanks vessa. Went there but can't upload a photo because I am on smartphone. Xx

Yes I decided I would try technology. This is a photo taken a few weeks back at the end of year concert. Bravehearts is the name of the choir and is is open to patients family and friends. We are finished now until Sept. I enjoy singing though I did torment a few with my husky voice when on Avastin. It is brilliant therapy and I have left the Committe, I go and sing and come out and no politics whatsoever. It is good for the lungs and the immune system. We fundraise at out twice yearly concerts for ourselves to keep running and also for a Cancer support Group who helped us set up. It came from the idea of an oncologist from Galway who joined a choir and found it so beneficial, he got a choir together up there. So it spread afar but we welcome non Cancer people so we had to rebrand ourselves

Hello,

Thank you for notifying us, we have restricted Kimbaran999 but he may still be able to send private messages. I have asked HealthUnlocked to look at this as soon as possible and fully block the user.

It does looks like spam as the same message was sent to many users. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us on 0800 008 7054.

Best wishes,

The Ovacome Team.

I had this message yesterday and wondered what else to do apart from deleting it. However, it seems Ovacome are already sorting it out which is brilliant. Thanks from all of us affected by this scam. Barbara

Me too..... I too received it and in my name . Realised its a hoax mail like the Nigerian lottery,so just deleted it. Cause for concern is he was able to target individual a/c's. As i can see that Ovacome has taken suitable action, but they will need to see the possibility of a firewall to check such malicious intruders.

I received the email as well, but deleted it without thinking about ti to much because I was at work at the time.

It makes me a cross between sad and furious that anyone would target this forum :(
