Hi Elaine
I did have one chemo cycle like this accompanied by lots of aches all over...to the extent that they sent a community nurse out to me armed with heavy duty painkillers. It never returned and I suspect it was just part of the chemo doing its job. As always your daughter should ring her chemo unit or CNS to report this and seek advice ..that's what they are there for. Hope she finds a solution. Xx Lyndall
HI Elaine, I would have had intermittent pain in the rib area but there was no apparent reason for it on the ct scans. Now I did have fender benders two in fact so really that could be the cause of some of it. It could be chemo, it could be fibromylagia but best mention it to your daughters team next time around. They will probably be perplexed as well but if your daughter can take paracetamol to alleviate the pain all the better.
