Decreased Urine Output

Hello. I'm on Carbo/Caelyx and I'm finding apart from the initial getting up wee I hardly want to go until the afternoon. This bothers me as it was never like this before. So far kidney function has been spot on in the blood tests. Has anyone had anything similar? I'm drinking loads, certainly in excess of 2 litres of liquid a day. LOvis x

Hi

I am on the same Chemo as you and I am also finding that my urine output is low. So far my kidney function has been ok but will not know properly until the next blood test. I did not have any red in my urine after the Caelyx despite being told to expect it. I don't know where all the liquid intake goes!

Hi Barb. Thanks for the reply. You really put my mind at rest on that one. How many more treatments have you got to go.

I am glad I can help, I have 4 more treatments but this is my second year on Chemo so lets hope I have a longer remission this time - it was only a few months last time. The Caelyx does not seem too bad so far and I can at least watch TV and read even though I have to rest due to tiredness, backache and severe headaches. This lasted a week so am back to doing gardening and DIY again. I am just thankful to be here and treat everyday as best I can and keep cheerful.

I had six Caelyx finished scan o k cancer stable . And iv noticed p not a lot still have the bloated belly so perhaps it will all leave at the one time . THEN I will ge into my clothes lol
