So sorry to hear this, it is very hard for you. Take one day at a time and don't forget to look after yourself so that you can stay strong for them. I hope you have someone to lean on to help you through.

It is so hard to watch people you love and are close to go through cancer. The advice from Citrine about one day at a time is really good. Taking each day as it comes is all any of us can do. It's fine to cry if you need to - supporting others with a cheerful face can be hard to keep up all of the time, but remember to laugh too.

Hi it is very hard to put on a brave face all the time and being honest with yourself and your family and friends is also hard but you need to try, otherwise you will make yourself unwell. I have stage 4 OvCa and I am back at work and enjoying every minute I get with friends and family, the future is uncertain for me but that makes me no different from anyone else on the planet. I'm not accepting cancer but I am accepting where I am right now, being normal and having fun with your Mum and best friend is important for all of you.

Miracles do happen and treatments are coming out all the time, you are understandably sad that's normal but hope is also strong.

Thinking of you big hugs

I hope you have people to support you. Do talk about all this with a friend or relatives or your GP. It must be very hard for you. Look after yourself - that is very important. Thinking of you.

Best wishes.

Love,

I am very sorry for the weight this hard news puts on you. I know it's hard. I've had similar happen. Like your friends here are saying, all you can do is be there for your mom and friend. That support goes a long way.

Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time, love Paul and Sandra xx
