Hi everyone
Has anyone read the research about this oil for late stage oc? I wondered if in a base oil it would be good massaged into the skin and absorbed in that way. Any thoughts welcome.
Wishing everyone a good Christmas

Hi Mopsie
From what I can google, it seems to have only been tested in a petri dish so far?? but aromatherapy massage has so many good effects, both emotional and physical, that I'm sure it would be worth having regardless (frankincense is said to help release past traumas, among other benefits, but of course that's not scientifically proven at all!) I think some hospital cancer services offer free aromatherapy to cancer patients and their carers. If it does turn out to have anti-cancer properties when massaged into the skin, then that would be an amazing bonus.

I had an interest in Frankincense after this article:
news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_...
Later I found mentioned dr. Suhail speaking about "preclinical" (wonderful) results for ovarian cancer between others :

And I even found a study in vitro by associate researchers:
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...
But that's about it. Which leaves us only with anecdotical and pompous claims from the companies marketing it. If you are still interested using it, here's an interesting paper:

HUGE WARNING when using it with corticosteroids (like Dexamethasone premedication for your Taxol), possible side effects:
osteoporosis,
renal failure,
diabetes
