It can take at least six weeks to get back to normal sometimes longer, take it easy and give your body time to recover. Enjoy the sunshine and let others take the strain.love jenny xxx
Hi there
So sorry that you are suffering. Six weeks is absolutely no time at all to recover from a massive operation. However if you have any other symptoms such as raised temperature or if things get dramatically worse do check with your doctor.
I am four and a half years on from two laparatomys and feel that I am still getting better.
Take care , love
and hugs to you xxx
