Pelvic Pain and spotting 9+ years post hysterectomy

Hi my mum had a full hysterectomy following a diagnosis of Stage 1C clear cell OC. 6 months of Chemo followed this. Since treatment and op she has been suffering with what has been described as chronic pelvic pain ever since. She had been told she cannot go on HRT as her cancer was Clear Cell.

She has been seeing her GPover the years who has said CA125 levels are within normal range no further treatment can be done. She worries one day a possible recurrence could happen. Could be due to scarring and stress causing pain.

Has anyone else suffered anything similar?

HRT could be given in all types of OC other than possibly low grade serous and low grade endometrioid. It’s the patient’s choice. How is your Mom doing now? Hope well!
