Hi,

I am taking Olaparib doing fine up to now I’m taking it since last January 2019

I was initially given Avastin after my first round of chemotherapy, I had my first recurrence 21 months later, I’ve had two recurrences in total but because I just couldn’t take anymore chemotherapy I pushed for the Olaparib which was approved because I was BRCA2 positive.

You seem to have been through a similar path to mine, and I’m delighted to hear you are doing so well.

I feel we are the guinea pigs for this drug it just hasn’t been widely used so I think the practitioners will be watching our results and comments ,but I am just so glad to be taking it,

Keep well everyone x
