I hope you had a good day and a treat of sorts for the day that is in it. I want to commend Annie H for her inspirational interview on Corks 103fm this morning. You can catch up with it on podcast. It was so nice to listen to this wonderful lady who has been through a lot and always is so pleasant to others. We look forward to hearing about her adventures at the next Ovacare Coffee morning or Patient Day. The interviewer Patricia Messenger brought out the best in our friend who told us how the simple things in life like baking with her Grandchildren in the afternoon is what life is all about. Thanks Suzuki,Happy international Women's day to you and all our Teal warriors.You are inspirational to me.You represent us at meetings all over the country Eventhough you might not be feeling 100%.im still up and awake at 3.20am and bright as a button.I should get a night shift job ha ha.Pj is coming down with man flu,Eventhough we both had vaccinations,so it's doctors for him tomorrow.

Hope hubby got meds and he will start feeling better soon. My sister had swollen glands and her gp got her emergency appointment at CUH yesterday. She also had a lump under her arm. She saw the right doctor who wouldn't take any nonsense from her and got ultrasound and mammogram done. Thankfully its just an infection for which she had already started antibiotics. She has OP but we were all worried that the pain was so bad, had something been missed. So she is off to the aml unit on Tuesday, hope she behaves this is for further tests as her bloods were a bit funny. So there are a lot of bugs going on around the place. I found it and indeed you did great. That was an awesome interview. Well done and thanks. I related a lot with many things that you said. I remembered how little I knew about ovarian cancer, how little even my GP knew. And how after everything is different. I'm not the same person inside as "before". Thanks

Hi Naimish, hope all good with you and Gauri. I am still stable thankfully. So I have been doing some advocacy for Public Patient Involvement here in Ireland. It is a brilliant opportunity to be well enough to do it and to remember all those who advocated before me. I do it for all the ladies on the site who are no longer with us.
