Hi Coffeelover57, I also had terrible reactions to Alendronate in two weeks. The first week I felt weak and pain all over, after I took the second week’s pill I thought I was having a heart attack. My care provider said to stop taking it (Duh, I had already decided against the third week’s pill) and she was going to get me in for a Prolia injection. I did some reading on that and felt the side effects would be bad as well, so I have decided not to medicate. The juice isn’t worth the squeeze.

Best to you in your decision on the alendronate.

A friend of mine tried the Prolia and her 1st injection was her last injection. She got very sick. These medications are no joke and I sometimes wonder if they work in the end. Thank you for your response. I’m currently not taking anything except supplements.

Good luck to you DollieDee !
