Welcome to the "club"! I'm in the UK too and was diagnosed at age 58. I don't take meds and 7 years later so far no fractures. Have you found Bone Health, the UK group on HealthUnlocked?

Hi! No I haven’t come across Bone Health. Will try and find it! Amazing that you haven’t taken any meds. My GP has put me on Aldronic Acid and calcium supplements. I was a little bit wary about the AA.

Go to My Hub and search for Bone Health in Communities. 🙂

I took AA for a couple of weeks, then switched to Risedronate, but neither agreed with me and some of my side effects could be worse with an infusion.

You should look into low intensity vibration (LIV) therapy. healtheuropa.eu/preventing-... "Marodyne LiV is Europe’s only approved medical device that is approved to deliver effective low-intensity vibration therapy." melioguide.com/osteoporosis...

You should definitely talk to your doctor and since you are in the UK and the therapy has been approved there, you might have easy access and they might be able to give you more info in terms of how it is working on various patients as opposed to just reading studies on line. Note, I did find one woman on Facebook who stated that her lumbar T-score went from -2.9 to -2.1 after using the Marodyne LiV platform for 2 years without any osteoporosis meds.
