Looking for an osteoporosis specialist in Fort Worth Texas

I wanted to share an excellent book on Osteoporosis.

Dr. Lani's no-nonsense Bone Health Guide. She is a DC, CCD .

The book covers all aspects of an osteoporosis diagnosis. I've found it extremely helpful

but it would be nice to have a specialist to consult. Have been looking but nothing yet.

What kind of physician would be most likely to have a specialty in Osteo???

Two of the specialists who most often treat osteoporosis are endocrinologists and rheumatologists.

But choose one who focuses his/her practice on osteoporosis rather than some other condition such as diabetes or RA. But if you are in a remote area that level of specificity may not be possible.

One place to start your search is the Endocrine Society directory looking for a specialty in Bone and Mineral Metabolism.
