Anyone on maximum meds for 6 months and not improved?

I’ve had severe reflux for almost 6 months. Endoscopy showed esophagitis and gastritis. Been on maximum meds 2 x 30mg Lanzoprazole 2 x 20mg Famotidine and Gaviscon Advanced 4 times a day. Followed Dr Kauffman diet religiously too but although not as bad I’m still experiencing reflux every day during daytime and have constant bitter tasting mouth. Can anyone relate to this and give me some hope of ever getting back to some normality please?

Thank you for taking the time to give a reassuring reply. I was beginning to think things were not going to work for me. So glad you have made a good recovery.
