Dr is going to do a blood test next week (14 days) after PPIS will this show if I’ve got it or not ?

I have very similar symptoms to yours. I'm also burping (small burps) every time I eat something small or drink even one small sip of water. I have constantly bad taste in my mouth and felt burning on my chest (just a little bit in stomach as I eat).
I had in the past Helicobacter Pylori but was eradicated and last gastroscopy in Feb 2021 shown mild gastritis. However, I never felt like this before. It was more of lower stomach issues hence IBS diagnosis until now.
Today I made a home test for Helicobacter but it came negative.
On Monday I'm going to do some stool test ordered by GP.
hi my h pylori was negative … currently gp thinks mine is all anxiety fed … put on mild AD and no heartburn 🤞 no longer need gaviscon but the burping still there (so annoying ) but gp said she’s not worried 🤷♀️ I also sometimes still get a burning sensation in different areas of stomache
It's a very good news you have no HP! As long as you can manage your symptoms that's great. I am not taking any Gaviscon either, try to manage my symptoms by diet (no coffee is the hardest part for me!) However, I reached the point I'm scared to eat because of burping l, which comes regardless what I drink or eat. I also have occasional burning in my stomach, but I would say more often in my chest and on the back.I suspect I might have anxiety issues as well. When I start noticing od pains here and there I became teary, very anxious and visualize the worst scenarios. Meditation helps to calm down and also fall asleep in the night, but anxiety comes back. GP encourages me to self refer for a therapy, which is sensible and I am likely to do it but this still does not answer sudden onset of symptoms for the last 2 weeks!
I had the heartburn for 7 weeks before dr said it was anxiety 😟 I too was so scared which again didn’t help my symptoms …. Anxiety is terrible when it starts … I’m also concerned when I get the burning sensation in my tummy & the burping but dr said thinks all related to the brain gut anxiety issue I’m hoping so got new ad tablets to start tonight 🙏

Thank you for asking! It looks like heartburn its a bit better but unfortunately it got a bit harder from another side od the stomach. I got very constipated and I do not know what to do. I take Fybogel from today but I feel like I am fully loaded for the last few days. It is not very painful and stomach is soft but I just seem to keep all stuff and gases inside the stomach and they all go from the mouth as mentioned before. Still burping every time I drink or eat. For last two weeks when heartburn started I went on low Fodmap diet. I am wondering now if that could be a reason on constipation? Is it too much fiber I started to eat suddenly ? I don't think I eat too many vegetables but definitely more than before and most of them are green now. I also stopped coffee all together and I try eating gluten free. I have IBS for few years now and there was always ups and downs but I was doing quite well, did not suffer too much and I did not need to think about it on a daily basis like now.How are you doing? Did you start new tablets? What are they?
started new AD called mirtrazipine they are ok no heartburn still 🤞 but the burping after food & drink worries me but dr says not worried but I sometimes feel as if bottom of my throat feels funny although swallowing no problem & top of stomache sometimes aches (not painful ) weird it does concern me but dr thinks all stress related , have you had any tests done ? The burping really annoys me but also worries me aswell 😞back at dr 6/2 so I’ll mention it again

I was a bit better since last time we exchanged messages here but recent 7 days was a complete nightmare. I have stomach cramps and pains ( kind of diarrhea stomach pain but turns out I'm mostly constipated). I am also very nauseous and most of the time I feel a discomfort in the stomach. At some point I thought it's a stomach bug as it now circulates but it looks like not as no typical diarrhea and vomiting, all family is also feeling good but me. I'm very tired and worried that I miss something important. My consultation. with gastroenterology department is on 20 April, what feels like ages. GP probably will brush it off since they never could find anything serious.
