Bile induced gastritis

I have hiatus hernia 2cm sliding oesophagitis and bile induced gastritis as no gallbladder. I had a ct scan liver ok all looks ok. But pain is bad from acid despite Oesomaprazole and Femotidine and Gaviscon (I live UK) . It burns all inbetween shoulders all up back all down back. I rarely burp or have heartburn no pain at night. But I also get very bad lower back pain when if I eat something a bit too fatty but I wonder if this is from the bile in lower back intestines. I have had very light brown stools 8 weeks now. Used to be dark brown green etc. My GP not worried. Says light brown normal but it's not for me. Someone told me to take ox bile and another told me Milk thistle. I thought ox bile would make pain worse. I had a scope July and have had this 5 yrs and got worse when gallbladder out but always had dark brown stools. I've had pancreatis once but one month ago bloods ok ct scan ok. Could they have missed something. I also get a tight band all around my middle after eating real bad and uncomfortable I feel like i need a knife to cut the rope!! One GI said 2 yes ago i dont have bile acid malabsorption as i often get explosive diarrhoea but my stools were darker then. I just know something isnt right . Do i need Ox Bile . ??.

Have you considered IBS?Our bodies don’t stand still, what was happening in the past can cause the body to compensate in a different way.

Have u considered food allergies / intolerances? They can cause major pain and altered faeces. And the gut tolerates one form but not in another. Eg I tolerate yellow tomatoes without the skin, but don’t tolerate red tomatoes with or without the skin, not even when cooked.

Where the gut is concerned u are your best Sherlock Holmes.
