Asthma and OCD

Just posted something similar on the asthma page.

I've had breathing issues since moving house in March and I am wondering if its because of my OCD. Because I was expecting to have an issue with my new house (e.g. more triggers likes dust, carpets, etc) I feel like I am psychologically breathing wrong. My airways feel tight and inflamed, also I am definitely obsessing over my breathing to the point where I am panicking and making it worse. All day I am focused on my breathing, desperately hoping it will get better.

My usual meds aren't working, and the doctors and I have tried may different treatments for my asthma all of which aren't working. Today the doctor has prescribed me some sertraline in the hopes it can help me relax.

Has anyone else experienced this?
