hi, im new here. since about a year ago i started having these really bad thoughts that cause me big stress. i talked to my sister about it and she advised i talk to my parents, but i want to be sure i have something serious before i do. what are signs that i may have ocd? or is there a test i can take?

Oh yes it’s definitely the demon ocd.

I would talk to your parents and go to your doctor as soon as possible to get treatment.

It does sound like OCD, and there is plenty of help available. If the thoughts are causing you a lot of distress, then you deserve treatment. There are quite a number of tests for OCD and some of these are printed as appendices in Overcoming OCD, which is an excellent self-help book, and there are also tests online. I can locate a few from reputable websites and post the links for you. Do confide in your parents, and remember that OCD is a relatively common, and treatable condition.
