Yeah it’s very annoying that they don’t take it seriously
That's not nice! Get them to read up about OCD, if you can, so they understand it better. I don't mind a bit of banter, and often joke about having OCD myself, but if it isn't done with understanding and sympathy, they shouldn't make fun.

Awwh, I'm so sorry to hear this Maisie. My gran has made similar comments and laughed at my concerns of contamination over Christmas too, and it's really not easy, but if this helps, remember to remind yourself that you are trying. You are still getting up each morning and trying to endure the OCD and the intrusive thoughts, and it must be so rough for you at the moment, but you should be proud of yourself for simply getting through each day.

I perhaps should add that people don't normally make fun of their friends' and family members' other disabilities, but it's open season on OCD! It's just as much a disability as having to use a wheelchair, etc.
And I hope the Christmas holiday wasn't too bad for you.
It was good other than that I had fun out my dads thanks for all the advice u have ever given me I hope ur 2018 is happy and healthy ❤️❤️❤️
