I Mentioned it in a blog about two or three days ago, there was an article in daily express and dail mail.. one can keep up to date by reading a mid range daily paper.

I've seen a few reports of this recently - same story, not anything different. Sounds really positive, but I won't hold my breath as it can take a long time to get through the trials and get licensed for widespread use. I think one person on HU was invited to be on the first trial.

But here's hoping it moves quickly into production - the more choice of drugs that work the better!

If I could I would have everything crossed for this to work. I'm on the verge of loosing my job and can see no way forward at the moment. I'm sick of being in pain and feeling tired all the time. X

Cool :o) Well done. I'm on a latest after trila drug ( infusions of Toc' ) and I think it only took 2.5 years for it to become widely available, so hopefully this one will too ( if successful)so there is every reason to be very hopeful.

I think yr consultant suggests it, if you're having no success with current drugs and you've tried all the usual suspect!

Well yet another restless night.. The pain in my wrists today is unbearable, looks like another day in bed for me ??. I'm totally fed up now and feeling really down. I think I'm now immune to my buTrans pain patches and my oral tamgesic painkillers... I wish I had my life back... Just gone 40 and feel 90.

Hi Donna, what anti inflammatories are you on? I can empathise with you. Do you use heat sacs at night? have memory foam pillows to put under bad joints? Voltarol gel to apply to swollen areas? Wrist supports?

We've got to hope always. This sounds potentially exciting to me - and hopefully crossing fingers will become a thing of the past for us all one day soon. Tilda
