Still on holiday.....

Good morning everyone of you. Well we are still in devon and after saturday i have suffered. We had such a good day at rosemoor i feel it is worth the pain as it was such a joy to be able to go where i wanted to without ra stopping me.

Yesterday we went to atlantic village as it was wet down here all day. This is a place that has all the big name shops and it is supposed to 50% cheaper, well if you believe that then good luck to you. We went as it was undercover and dry. Anyway the real reason i am writing this blog was that an elderly lady in the coffee shop we stopped at came up to me and asked did i have arthiritis and i told her i had the ra and she said she thought i had as she suffers with it herself. She was talking about my hair, mow i can't quite remember what she said, but it was something along the lines that she loved that my hair was so different and that i didn't let the old ra define me. She was a lovely lady and she surprised me by knowing what i was suffering from as most people don't know what the hell ra is. She hasn't been the only lady who knows either,we saw a couple at rosemoor on saturday and the lady had ra and shee said that she thought my ra was wosre than hers, but i told her that our ra pain is the same and we all suffer from it one way or another.xxx

If nothing else it is a great advert for not giving in to ra. Hope your ok.xxx

I have noticed when I spending time at these outlets that it's all the items that they are unable to 'get rid of' in their normal sales. I spoke to my daughter about it, (she previously worked in very high end fashion store), who confirmed that's what they do. Trying to get the more gullible patrons to buy, when such an outlet moved to near to a family member she bought some items and said how lovely, when I saw her and she showed me I told her they were last years collection!

Good to hear that people are coming up to you and recognising that you have RA, it makes you really feel appreciated and one of many. Enjoy the rest of you holiday and hope to have a good catchup. xxx
