Hi Minka, sounds as if you overdid it a bit the other day. I find if I try to walk too much, I suffer for it the next day with aching muscles and joints.

Unfortunately, with this rotten disease, we do have to pace ourselves and rest when it is flaring up. I don't know how long Kenalog takes to work as never been on it but I don't suppose you will get an immediate result and it will take time to kick in properly.

Get plenty of rest today and I hope you will be feeling better tomorrow. Lavendarlady x

hi lavender

unfortunatly for me i also have another illness called motorcycles been doing that since i was 7

and im now nearly 62 and people say they cant belive im 62. (neither did i untill april when this thing kicked in big style.

well if ya watch the racers we break a leg and strap it and race.

well im a bit like that i push like hell and fight like hell but now it seems im comming to terms like me wife says you have just walked down their this morning you are doing to much.

my main ambition is to get back on me bikes and get back over to next years tt and marshall

but today this thing has got me beat with an aching like hell calf mussle on the bad knee im trying to walk on. and all that sweating last night took a bit out of me.

i did this the last 2 times it came but i never experieinced it in me hands arms and shoulders as well as the lower parts of my body.

some of the things ya read on here well it beggers belief the onset of problems that have what i call nock on effects to the rest 0f your body.

i see people walking round quite good on sticks and ya say to yourself why cant i do that whats up with my body that i cant do that.

if i used me crutches me arms would kill me next day.

regards john

Hi Minka sympathise with you I can no longer get on hubbys bike my back cant stand it. All our friends have bikes and it can make you feel quite isolated as people can,t see your pain. But keep on fighting
