Morning everyone. Well as you can see from the title that i am paying for overdoing it. When will i ever learn,god only knows. It is so frustrating when your head tells you that you can do it and in the end your body screams at you to stop and then you ignore it. Just had to put my hearing aid in as the noise in my ear is deafening. Yes the tinnitus plays up more when i have over done it as well.
So it is silly o'clock in the morning and my knuckles ache like hell. I know typing isn't going to help it,but i have got to have something. They feel like having needles pricking into my hands and as for my knees, well they just hate me at the moment. Yet my head still is telling me that i'm fine, at least with all the sun i am not depressed.
So it looks like rocking chair day for me with the papers.

Morning my friend, i can see you can't sleep either. I see that you have a problem with your neighbours ariel so that when he moves around you can't watch you tv.I bet that is most annoying for you especially when there is something you want to watch.
I think you can i won't won't be doing much today. It has been a busy couple of weeks for us,what with having some rewiring done then on monday we had the meter changed and then a new boiler fitted yesterday,so there was some mess and bob can't do it all on his own. So i got stuck in to help with the clearing up and now i am paying for it. love to you lisa,xxxx
Hi Sylvi, I've had to laugh as I was reading down from your post (not the post itself).
Read Lisa's reply and was going to add my comment which I already had in my head when my laptop froze up for some reason. Needed to re-boot and when I did I read your next comment about your having had a new meter fitted. What's laughable about that?
Well, in my head my comment was: .............. you need to get a meter fitted to you so that you just know when to stop !
Hope you see the funny side and that once you get moving around today everything eases up a bit for you.
If there was a meter that could be fitted to me it would be useful don't you think. We need a sense of humour or we would all go under so yes i smiled at your comment.
Claire, i won't do much today and yes the rocking chair will get used.

As Wendy says R & R but add another R for rock. Just don't look at anything while you're out there otherwise you'll be out of that chair and doing stuff again. xx

I have a picture of Sylvie, sitting in her rocking chair with Bob lassoing her to it and still Sylvie saying 'I can do it'. I think that's the only way you will not do anything if he were to tie you to your chair.
Do try to take a piece of your own advice to us all and slow down and rest for a day. Have a good read or just watch the world go by for a change. xx
Yes boss.... I won't have a lot of choice in the matter today as my knees ache and it is hard walking. My fingers won't hit the right letters on my keyboard and i have to keep corrrecting everything i write so i know its stop time..

Have a great r&r&r today. I used to have a gorgeous rocking chair where I fed my babies, so you are bringing back wonderful memories for me. I gave it to my best friend when she had hers, shame I should have kept it, so enjoy yours
hope you managed to stay in your chair and resist overdoing things. I tried to do the same and was having a lovely rest in the garden, but then kept noticing all the little jobs that needed doing, so have spent much of the afternoon weeding, sweeping etc all the time thinking surely 5 mins more won't do any harm. We never do learn do we? Hope you're feeling better.
Caroline, i have spent some time outside and sometime in my recliner. I did the ironing and put it away. There is so much to do and i can't do any of it. The pain in my fingers is still there and it is very frustrating that i can't do anything. No we never learn and i am sure it will happen again. This week has been exceptional as we had had a lot of work done in the last two weeks.
