Hi Zimmie
yes I have, a sudden & recent thing that came & went, had it for a few weeks. That said I am feeling it again today. GP said it could be inflammation of the ligaments & to take anti-inflamatories. They also x-rayed my hips at the hospital, which were okay, thankfully. It was a horrible pain & I sympathise with you. Hope you get it sorted.
Hi Zimmie. sorry to hear that rest up and get to the Dr

I have had it several times, usually lasts a few days and then goes. Haven't actually mentioned it to any professionals because I was told that RA does not affect the hips so though it unrelated, however over the last two nights have been unable to lie down because that awful flare up relentless throbbing starts in my right hip. Wierd thing is if I sit in my recliner or stand or walk it's ok.
it's gotta be the RA though because its the exact same flare up pain.
Hope you get some answers, keep us posted
all the best Sue x
Hi All, Thanks for the help will be speaking to doc monday morning
Interestingly, I've been told that I have RA in my hips! and I also get that groin pain - was told that it was RA in the ligaments and also some sciatica from my collapsing discs in my back
There seems to be nowhere where it won't munch it's way in!
Hope you get some relief soon,
Cece x
I Also get groin pain and have had for the last 3 years., have mentioned it to my consultant who promptly sent me for a hip x ray but all ok there. Sometimes I can hardly walk as it is so painful - also advised to take anti inflammatories as well. It got so bad one weekend my hubbie phoned the on call doctor who just said probably the RA, take painkillers and see your own Dr on Monday! Not a lot of help there. Would be interested to hear what your Doc says Zimmie. Lavendarlady
Hi, i also have RA in my hip, pain in my groin and sciatic nerve goes all the way down my thigh and have Ra in my knee too and heel, so basically the whole of my leg is affected. Can be very painful to walk.
I hope you get help with yours.
