well went out with my new "friend" and we nt for a meal and drink locally .we have alot in common and had really good laugh , he very very sweet , but think had bit of problem taking what little i told of my health so not go into detail, lol just as had splint on my hand and a limp he asked so anwered ..a little . Not sure if see him again but it was great to feel attractive and femeine and even a little bit wanted . we will see. he away now for a few days mending boats in Kent . .. but as in all these situations I will not be holding my breath . more so now than ever before lol . But it was a loverly eve. (will let you know if we go out again lol )

It is difficult to know how much to say about RA when you first meet someone, I went to a school reunion last week and a few people had a laugh because I cant move my head, I laughed with them but didn't feel I could explain , thankfully my husband knows it warts and all. I hope it goes well for you and another date is forthcoming, it takes a special kind of person to take on a RA patient but there are plenty out there. Best of luck.

My ex said that no one else would have me and only had RA then , but proved him wrong , as could have remarried twice , but with my health going to pot in boat I wanted to be fitter before took any life that seriously .Only then for my health to get a lot worse , so now it s just a date that may lead to a friend ship that lasts . But doubt it . But the buzz of going was really nice . lol

I think you're right not to expect him to get back in touch Pottypam as best to opt for self preservation - then when and if he rings again it will be a bonus and a good surprise? Hope you continue to feel boosted by it anyway. TTx
