Diamond jubilee...

Good morning everyone on this wet and windy jubilee day. I won't be going far from my armchair. I have union jack nails on my fingers and bunting all over the outside the house.

I am recovering slowly but surely. I am impatient to be moving, but even i know it is going to be a long while until i can say i've recovered fully. I am due to have the last of the clips out today,so i expect to be more uncomfortable than usual. The knee is giving me a bit of stick this morning, but with the queen doing what she does best and that is giving joy to thousand of people who have met her i don't have much room to moan now can i.

I am unashamed to be a royalist,i don't fancy the idea of a president blair. She is neutral on politcs and she looks marvelous for her age. She's certainly fitter than me. Then we have prince phillip who has put his foot in it so many times, but i love the old geezer. I hope where ever your celebrating you have a good day..

Well all,the district nurse called round to my house to take the remaining clips out. I wasn't expecting her to come. We were supposed to go to the health centre at 12.30. She was lovely and she was pleased with scar. She was surprised to find out how long i was in theatre. I now feel like i've hit a brick wall. I'm tired and a bit down. This will pass i know. So i hope you all ahve a lovely afternoon. xx

Hi Sylvi

Glad you have had all the clips out now.

Hope you have had a good day, it's done nothing but rain here all day.

All the best for your continued recovery.
