hi all i need help with filling forms in please

I have not heard of either of those two companies so don't know anything about them or whether they are any good. I suggest you go to your local CAB as they are used to filling in these forms and will be able to help you and it won't cost anything, (apart from a donation if you wish!).
Whichever you choose, good luck with the DLA application. LavendarLady x
Hi
I used works and benefits and with their guidance received highest mobility and the low care +++++ I only need help for 2 - 3 hours a day and I can manage a lot of things but in my own time. Works and pensions is free but if you join there is a slight benefit you can download the files etc for help, but there is more than enough help waiting on it.
Give it a try, if you need any other help put another Q. on here I'll try and help you.
Best wishes

Hi, I agree with LL, I've not heard of either of those companies? you name. I also suggest you get the help of CAB when filling in forms from DWP.
When filling in the forms you must paint a clear picture of how the condition affects your daily life, everything, and I mean everything you have difficulty with even the little things.
Also, if you need help to carry out social activities you must say so in the form and describe the help you need, how you manage and who provides the help, if you can get a supporting statement from that person even better.
I've added the link for benefitsandwork hope it's some help to you.

Good luck

Hi
I am a support worker and fill in the DLA forms. we have an agency called DIAL and they are very good at doing these forms see if you have a local one to you and if so use them. good luck. I have just completed the form myself
The very best place to find out all about DLA/ESA/PIP. I joined when I first applied for DLA and the advice was invaluable. I think you have to be a member to download their guide to filling in the forms but believe me, it is well worth it. To fill the form in sucessfully you really do need guidance and you get it here.
I hope you have success with your application.

Hi Sheenerweener
As Maax has already mentioned another useful organisation to contact is DIAL (Disability Information Advice Line). They have a website where you can find the contact details for your local branch: dialuk.info/
We also produce a 'How to claim DLA' guide that you may find useful, it is specifically written with rheumatoid arthritis in mind but you may still find it helpful. You can download the booklet from our website: nras.org.uk/help_for_you/pu...
Best of luck with your application.
Kind regards

i was told to contact CAB and i have an appointment with then in a couple of weeks. When i went in to book an appointment they told me to download the form at look at it to get an idea what the questions will be and be prepared to answer them as best you can..
The best bit of information was.
'Any impairment should be assessed on the effects the disability would have without any treatment or corrective action. Think about what effects your disability would have on your day-to-day activities if you were not receiving any treatment.'
