Following GP’s advice not to take my methotrexate whilst being treated with an antibiotic for an ear infection, I then had my seasonal flu jab since then I have had a flair up of my RA. I have been unable to get a response from my designated RA nurse ( too busy) and wonder if I need steroids?

This is probably about time and if you’ve only just had the injection and stopped the antibiotics then restarted it’s probably better to wait as the MTX needs a bit of time to work again. I’d give it a couple of weeks.
